It happens every year after Oscar morning — “who did they forget?” Trent Reznor/Atticus Ross composed the best score of the year for Challengers and were viewed as the frontrunners yet they were left off the Best Original Score list today. That was probably the biggest shock. The Best Original Song category remains a shit show. I’m thankful they’re not performing the songs this year. They need to do a complete revamp of that category like they did Documentary Feature back in the day. It’s an embarrassment. But, I digress. So many performances and films were left out in the cold this morning and, as I’ve been doing for numerous outlets for over two decades now, I like to show them love. There are no winners or trophies just nominees to give some love to those not given any. Here are my alt-universe nominees.
